Duke's Oceanfest - A Waikiki Ocean Sport Celebration

The 8th Annual Duke's OceanFest takes place August 23-29, 2009 and will feature an array of ocean sports competitions - surfing, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, beach volleyball - and more. All of it in the heart of Waikiki where Duke Kahanamoku began sharing his Aloha Spirit and the gospel of surfing with the rest of the world.

The Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation (ODKF) is a public nonprofit foundation created on February 18, 1986 in honor of one of Hawaii's greatest athletes, three-time Olympic Gold Medalist and Native Hawaiian Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, whose Olympic career spanned 20 years.
